DailyUpdates was launched in 2002 by the pharmaceutical analysts LeadDiscovery and represents the first "newsfeed" that identifies breaking scientific publications with drug development potential. Using proprietary data retrieval strategies LeadDiscovery selects daily 1,000 PubMed articles and press releases.  The selected articles and releases are then scanned by an industrial research panel which judges those articles considered to be of greatest benefit for the drug development sector.
