In a study conducted recently in our laboratory,7 all of the 15 IgA-deficient CD patients were found positive for IgG-AGA and negative for IgA-AGA and other autoantibodies. This approach will identify all CD patients, including those that are IgA deficient.

Axon Guidance Cues at the Spinal Cord Midline
3,13 Commissural axons in mice deficient in either Netrin-1 8 or its receptor DCC 9 exhibit misprojections, many axons stall, and few reach the ventral commissure, strongly supporting the notion that Netrin-1 is indeed a critical midline attractive guidance cue (Figure 1).

Our studies indicate impaired DC differentiation in NOD mice is in turn linked to functional deficiencies in immunoregulatory natural killer (NK) T-cells that also characterize this strain. Paralytic autoimmune myositis develops in addition to type 1 diabetes in NOD mice made Th1 cytokine deficient by expression of an IFNγ receptor β chain transgene.<...

Human IgG Subclass RID Kit available through RDI Divison of Fitzgerald Industries Intl
Especially the association of selective IgG2 subclass deficiency with increased susceptibility to viral or bacterial infections has been amply documented (4, 5). -------- In case of paraproteins or paediatric and partly deficient sera choose dilutions higher or lower than those indicated.
